Greg Gardner, age 65, retired, conservative. I've been a Largo resident since 1990. Born and raised in Warren Michigan. Moved to Florida in 1984. I plan to launch a bi-annual hyper-local nonprofit newspaper called The Largo Free Press late 2026.

To challenge the entrenched establishment, restore sensible spending, and give the keys to the
city back to the people.

To empower you, not the government

Promote three new community patriots to run for city commission with the intent to capture the (4-vote) simple majority away from Largo’s four-term never-elected Mayor Woody Brown and his prodigal loyalists.
Seize the City Treasury: Largo’s debt has increased 791% in 10 years since Mayor Brown took office, ballooning to 213.9 million. Total city revenue increased 52.4% between 2020 and 2025, while the population increased less than 2%. At the current level of spending, Largo will need to increase total combined revenue between 6% and 10% annually over the next five years. Everything over and above essential services is discretionary spending. These services comprise police, fire, EMS, infrastructure, trash, water, sewer, recycling, disaster response, and administrative-regulatory services.
DOGE Audit Time: Invite Blaise Ingoglia’s team to Largo, our city officials’ worst nightmare. Present all waste, fraud, and financial abuse findings to the community via the Largo Free Press. Build a coalition of 1000 dedicated Largo residents who will demand meaningful
participation in the annual budget. This pledge to you requires your vote, your trust, and mutual commitment.
